Special Interest Providers

NOTE

For programs running during the evening (after to 6:00 pm) please visit our Community use of Schools page.

School Day Special Interest Programs provide a variety of unique opportunities for students facilitated through outside course providers. These programs operate at lunch time and after School (prior to 6pm), are approved by administration and are operated independently through the provider. All fees and registrations are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and the provider. Programs are offered for a range of interests, for example: art; music; theatre; karate; STEM/STREAM; lego; sports; etc.

All programs must be approved by the school principal. Once approved, Providers can then submit a permit request through Community Use of Schools. Permit requests must be accompanied with references and current Vulnerable Sector Screenings for instructors.

School Day Special Interest Provider applications will be reviewed semi-annually and are valid for the current school year.
