St. Brother Andr茅 CHS

Open the Door. Let in the Light.

Saint Brother Andr茅 Catholic High School opened in 1985 in Markham with 212 students and 15 staff under Principal Blair Day. Rapid growth led to the opening of the permanent building in 1988, and the school was blessed by Cardinal Carter in 1989.

Named after Saint Brother Andr茅, canonized in 2010, the school honours his legacy of faith and service.

Home of the Cardinals, with colours red, blue, and gold, the school鈥檚 motto 鈥淚n lumine tuo鈥 (鈥淚n your light we see light鈥) reflects its mission to educate students in a Christ-centred environment that fosters excellence in academics, athletics, and character.
